Bottle Art Museum Pattaya

The only Museum in the world where there are art works that look alike important and well-known and architectural buildings shown in bottles in diffirent shapes and sizes. These artworks show about the old days, traditions cultures, living circumstances, landscapes, weather and valuable architecture works of many diffirent places. The person who started creating this kind of valuable artworks is Mr Pieter Bij Deleij, a Dutch artist, who established the museum in the year 1995. Khun Prapaisri Thaipanich a modern artist in Chon Buri Province, Is his only pupil who has continuously maintaining and creating these artworks. At present, the bottle art museum has been moved to The Kingston Park which is the first multiplex learning and entertaining center in Pattaya.

The Marine Aquarium is the section composed of indoor tanks of aquaria of diffirent size with capacities to contain seawater ranged from half a ton to 1000 tons. The exhibitions compose of marine animals and plants including aquaculture organisms in which the researchers conduct studies on their behaviors. Visitors are able to study and/or observe closely with these living animals in their underwater world.

The Marine Science Museum
The Marine Science Museum is the place where specimens of marine organisms both animals and plants are deposited for identification, exhibition and/or further studies. Exhibition concerning these organisms are ranged from minute ones such as planktons to the large ones such as whale shark. Besides, exhibitions involved marine science and exploitation of marine natural resources are also on displays. Visitors would learn and also understand about the seas and living organisms of the seas.

The Marine Science Research Unit conducts researches in four diffirentareas as follow

4. Marine Biotechnology

The institute of Marine Science has its own laboratories to carry out studies in every fields of Marine Science. The institution also serves communities as well as other institutions in the area nearby un term of specimen and water quality analysis, and assists graduate and undergraduate students to contribute their thesis studiest and/or special problems.

The academic Services
There are two main services. The first service involves the learning center for children and communities, which opens daily from 8.30 am.- 5.00 pm.

The second services aims to develop academic activities to communities such as the marine science camp, a conservation project on marine natural resources and environment, workshops and seminars on marine science as well as a project of technology transfer. In addition the institution serves as the training center for undergraduate and graduate students.

The Institute of Marine Science. Burapha University was originally from the Zoological Museum and Marine Aquarium of the former Srinakharinwirot University Bangsaen Campus (Burapha University at present). In 1980, the University proposed a cooperative project to the Japanese Government for a construction of new facility to replace the Zoological Museum and Marine Aquarium. The project was approved of 230 milions baht to construct the Marine Science Center.

Her Royal Highness Princess Mahachakri Sirindhon presided over the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the center on March 23, 1982. His Majesty the King came to preside over the opening ceremony of the Marine Science Center on July 24, 1984.
